Tomorrow the semi- finals begin and from a fan perspective I couldn’t be more excited.
Here’s what we have to look forward to:
- The remaining artists are performing “original songs”. Does this mean they wrote the songs or the show hired someone to write new music for them?
- Season 1 contestants Javier Colon, Dia Frampton, Vicci Martinez and Beverly McClellan will all be performing. It is going to be really cool to see how fame has treated them. Javier will be performing his single ‘A Drop in The Ocean’; Vicci Martinez will be singing ‘Come Along’ with Cee Lo; Cyndi Lauper will be performing ‘Money Changes Everything’ with Beverly McClellan; and Dia Frampton will perform ‘Kick The Chair’ with Kid Cudi.
- Teams Cee Lo and Adam are performing together to sing The Killers hit “All These Things I’ve Done” while Team Blake and Christina will perform “The Edge of Glory” by Lady Gaga. Not that it would really matter, but I would like them to switch up the team pairings: Team Cee Lo and Blake while Team Christina and Adam perform together.
This seems like a lot to fit into one episode, but we will see.
